My first BYU experience was a leadership conference up in Aspen Grove the week before classes started. This was the first time in my life (other than volleyball camp) where I was entering a situation where I didn't know a soul. I was so nervous to make friends, and thought I would die! Of course, everyone was so nice, and I was surprised how tight our group got despite our different personalities. I made some lasting friends that week, and I am really grateful I got to go to FOL. Bubblegum...POP!
