Usually I eat at the cannon center. I love it. Somedays though, I don't have time to go down there. So I resort to frozen foods. These are my favorites. Also, I am proud to say that I haven't eaten any Top Ramen at college! BREAKING THE STEREOTYPE!
Well... I've completed a whole semester at college!
I'm afraid my papers would bore you,
so here are some of the fruits of my artistic labors.
(from 2d design, and intro to drawing)
this was an in class drawing
done with charcoal. my first
experience drawing fabric.
this was a 2d assignment.
we were supposed to use
coloraid to simulate
transparency. the color is
better in real life.
first experience working
with coloraid...yikes.

Ok, so fall officially started on September 22, but back then, it was still in the 80s. Now that the leaves have turned, and the weather has finally taken a turn for the worse--I mean cold, I feel like I can say that summer has officially gone away :(
last night I went to the jónsi concert in salt lake city. a group of three women called mountain man performed. they were awesome. just voices and a guitar.
then came jónsi. he didn't interact with the crowd besides saying thank you, but it didn't detract from the performance at all. he is a genius. i was smiling the whole time.
Last Saturday a few friends and I drove up to Salt Lake City to see a band called Fun. It was in a small venue called...wait for it... In the Venue. Because it was such a small venue, it was general admission, so wherever you stood you could get a good view of the stage.
In the MOA, there's this dark room with a white mat on the floor with an amoeba-like projection on it. There is a camera pointed at the mat, and when you walk across it the shape is destroyed and eventually "heals". This piece is called Healing 1 by Brian Knep.
We got to hear Brian Knep speak in our seminar class tonight, and it was kinda interesting because all his artwork is based off a specific algorithm. You can check out the rest of his stuff at
